In this post will write about 'LORD BUDDHA.' It's an Indian and Nepalese restaurant. You can eat eat curry and big nan bread. It tastes good and the prices are reasonable. I often go there at lunch time, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. At lunch time, there are four kinds of curry, 'Chicken Curry Rice', 'Keema Egg Curry Rice', 'Vegetable Curry Rice', and 'Today's Curry Rice', available in three combos, 'A set', 'B set', and 'C set.' The rice is saffron rice.
In this restaurant, you can choose 4 levels of spiciness; mild, medium, hot, and very hot. When I went there the first time, I ordered medium, but it was too hot for me. So now I order mild every time I go there and eat curry, though it is still hot a little.
A set is 'Indian Curry Rice' ( 600 yen ). In this combo,you can choose one curry from four choices. This photo's combo is 'Today's Curry Rice'. This day, it was scallop curry and the taste was delicious. Today's Curry Rice changes everyday, and there are several varieties. I want to try them all.
B set is 'Nan Set' ( 700 yen ). This combo has one curry and one nan bread. You can choose one curry from four curries and eat freshly made nan bread. The nan bread is big and it has a springy texture. This photo's curry is Chicken Curry.
C set is 'Manpuku Set' ( 950 yen ). This combo has two curries, one nan bread, one rice and one dessert. You can choose two curries from four choices and eat freshly made nan bread, saffron rice and dessert. I thought that I would became full if I ate this combo. But today, I went there and tried it! This curry was Egg Curry Rice and Vegetable Curry Rice. Both curries were good, but I like Egg Curry best. The dessert was tasty, such as the yogurt with various kinds of fruit in it. When I finished eating this combo, I was stuffed. I recommend it when you want to eat a lot.
At lunch time, the drinks are free! You can choose one drink from the menu. I recommend going at lunch time when the cost is about 1,000 yen. When you go at dinner time, you can eat other Indian and Nepalese meals. For example, cheese omlette, momo, kachumbar salad, roti, mango pudding and so on. I haven't eaten a meal there at dinner time yet, so I want to have dinner there next time.
There are 25 seats in this restaurant. I feel like this restaurant is a little small. This restaurant has a good atmosphere and the server is friendly. They speak English and their local language, but they can speak Japanese too. If you smoke, you can smoke there. You can relax and enjoy eating. Also, you can buy curry for take-out.
